0:23.4

and is still regarded as a guru on everything to do with matters legal and treaties of the European Union.

0:30.6

Jean-Cloid, my first question to you, if I may, is what is your prediction at the moment?

0:34.9

This is the end of June, mid-June.

0:36.3

What is the likelihood of the European Union agreeing to a deal with the UK before the end of October?

0:44.3

Good morning, Paul. In fact, I have not really a prognostic.

0:51.3

I think that everything can happen, especially because you have now in the

1:39.1

1:57.6

2:04.0

which is not a legally binding document, and the European Union is, as from the beginning,

2:10.7

open to the wishes of the United Kingdom for the future of the relations between the EU and the UK. And the future relations are

2:20.8

described as possible for the future in this political declaration. That's open.

2:29.1

Well, you mentioned the Conservative Party leadership contest at the moment. And of course,

2:33.8

a lot of rhetoric at the moment,

2:35.2

because of the hustings, I suppose, amongst the candidates, with the exception of Rory Stewart,

2:39.7

that no deal with reluctance might be an option amongst others. Everybody wants to try and get a deal

2:46.8

before the end of October. They're saying these candidates candidates but if we have to leave without a deal
