I'm your host, Sid Evans, and today I'm talking with a mother-daughter duo who are bringing hip-hop culture to the Nashville country scene. Tekeitha Washington is a singer and songwriter

who's worked extensively with the Wu-Tang clan and its members,

as well as rap artists like KRS 1. Prana Supreme Diggs is her daughter with Wu-Tang founder Riza,

and as a result, she's been around music all her life. Several years ago, the two moved to Nashville

and formed one, the duo.

Now, after a series of singles, their recently released debut album, Blood Harmony,

manages to capture their close family dynamic as well as their incredible talent.

We'll talk about all that and how Prana convinced her mom to work with her on this week's Biscuits and Jam.
