0:32.0	For people who don't know Jack is a world-renowned
0:36.8	expert not just on salmon conservation but endangered fish conservation
0:41.6	generally in fact Jack was one of the authors of a
0:45.0	seminal paper that I remember from early in my career back in 1991 that was
0:50.3	published in Fisheries that documented the extirpation I believe of over a
0:56.0	hundred stocks of salmon and steelhead and that placed about 215 stocks that were at risk of extinction.
1:05.0	And Jack, we're really honored to have you here today.
1:09.0	Oh, thanks very much, Chris.
1:10.0	Yeah, 106 salmon stocks that we've already lost by one way or another.
1:16.3	So yeah, good memory on that front.
