34-year-old Danielle Imboe meets up with her on-again

boyfriend, 35-year-old Richard Petron, and they spend the evening hanging out at a downtown bar.

Richard says that he is planning to drive Danielle home, but after leaving together in Richard's pickup truck, they vanish without a trace.

Three years later, the FBI announces that they are investigating the possibility that the

couple were the victims of a murder-for-hire plot, but they do not name any potential suspects and no trace of

Danielle, Richard, or the truck are ever found.

covering a bizarre missing person's case involving two victims, the 2005

disappearances of Danielle Imboe and Richard Petronne. Ever since the inception of this

podcast, this has always been one of my more highly requested cases, so I

figured that I was long overdue to release an episode.
