As a brief recap, this story involves three convicted criminals, 35 year old Frank Morris,

32 year old John Angland, and his 31 year old brother Clarence Angland, who were serving

time at the Alcatraz Federal Penitentiary on Alcatraz Island in San Francisco and decided

to orchestrate an escape from what was considered to be the world's most inescapable prison.

On the evening of June 11th, 1962, after several months of meticulous planning, they managed

to sneak out of their cells and make it outside the prison walls to the island shoreline.
