Taiga County, New York. 35-year-old Michelle Harris finishes her evening shift at a workplace

but never returns home. The following warning, Michelle's abandoned minivan is discovered

on a road next to the driveway of her family's rural property and tiny specks of blood are soon

found inside the residence. Suspicion turns towards Michelle's estranged husband,

Cal Harris, as the couple are in the midst of a heated divorce. Years later,

Cal is charged with Michelle's murder, but after four trials and two overturned convictions,

Cal is acquitted of the crime in 2016 and no trace of Michelle is ever found.

I'm your host Robin Warder and we've got a pretty convoluted case to cover today,

the 2001 disappearance of Michelle Harris. Now as you might have noticed,

the release date for this episode is September 11th and the main reason I decided to cover this case

today is because it happened to take place on September 11th, 2001, only about 200 miles away from

New York City. On this particular date, while the world's attention was focused elsewhere,
