Hi everyone, before I begin the episode, I would like to provide another plug for a huge event

I'll be appearing at only one month from now. On Sunday, August 18th, I will be participating in

a true crime podcasting event at the Royal Cinema in downtown Toronto. The event will run from

2pm until 5pm, and in addition to myself, other podcasters participating will include Christie

from Canadian True Crime, Jordan from the Nighttime podcast, Nina from Already Gone, and Aaron from

Generation Y. I'm also excited to announce that Canadian criminologist and author,

Lee Meller, from The Murder Was The Case Podcast will now be joining us as Wellfrucchat,

along with true crime author Nate Henley. The main focus of our show will be presenting the case

of the Donnellies, the well-known historic Canadian story of a gritty and brutal pioneer feud.

The story is surrounded by myth and legend, it was chronicle to Nate Henley's book Black Donnellies,

but join us to find out what really happened. In addition, there will also be a meet and greet

and a Q&A on the show. And while I'm here, I also want to send out a big thank you to the Royal

Cinema, who are partnering with us for this event, and have been so nice and helpful. I used to go

see movies at the Royal all the time while I was attending University in Toronto, so you cannot

imagine how excited I am to be participating in an actual show there. If you're in the Toronto area

and love Indian Arthouse Cinema, you have to check out the Royal. It's an historic cinema in the

heart of Toronto's little Italy, with the best of both worlds. It's gone through extensive

renovations and upgrades to state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment, but it's still both

scourges architecture. The Royal is also known for excellent programming. Their monthly signature

series delivers shows which suit all tastes. Some examples include Cinema Cobb Movie Nights,

which showcase classic and contemporary horror, Eastern Promises, which displays the highs and
