Hello everyone, before we begin the episode, I just have a brief announcement to make.

As you might be aware, I participated in a True Crime Podcasting event in Toronto last

summer, and I'm happy to say that I'll be doing another one this summer.

The event is called True Crime Podcasts Live in Toronto, and will feature a panel discussion

with myself, Kristy from Canadian True Crime, Jordan from the Nighttime Podcast, Nina from

Already Gone, and Aaron from Generation Y.

In addition to the panel, there will also be a Q&A case presentations, a meet and greet,

and other special guests will be announced leading up to the event.

It will take place on August the 18th from 2 until 5 p.m., and this time, we will be holding

it at the Historic Royal Cinema on College Street.

Tickets are $25 each, and have just gone on sale, so if you would like to purchase tickets,

After spending the evening at a dance, 15-year-old Marie believe heads to a party, but never returns

home.

Two days later, Marie's parents receive an anonymous phone call demanding a $5,000 ransom

for a return.

The caller turns out to be 18-year-old Monty Dooland, who originally drove Marie to the
