Yes. Hey guys, Sam Roberts here. Welcome to another very special edition of not Sam wrestling. It is the end of the year. And so with as much happened in 2025, I'm trying to tell the story of 2025 and more specifically tell the story of 2025 within the WWE.

0:22.0

What happened in 2025 in WWE?

0:26.3

Because, I mean, so much going on, so much unpredictability, so much controversy, so much pivoting, so much everything, that I feel like the best way to break it all down to tell the one

0:39.5

story is to tell it in the parts that you need to tell it in.

0:43.7

So what we're doing is taking the top 12 moments, story moments in the year, in 2025 that

0:52.1

happened in WWE and putting them all together to kind of tell that

0:55.9

bigger story of 2025. Now yesterday, what do we do yesterday? Yesterday we did the top 12. So part one

1:04.9

was 12 through 7 and that was Jay Uso winning the Royal Rumble. That was John Cena turning heel.

1:11.3

That was Paul Haven turning on Roman reins.

1:13.7

That was Becky Lynch turning heel.

1:15.7

That was Gunther retiring Goldberg.

1:18.9

And that was our truth first getting fired and then returning.

1:22.6

Now we are here for part two, which is going to be six all the way through one. Of course, I am not

1:29.3

necessarily ranking them in terms of importance. More so, I'm ranking them in terms of, I guess,

1:39.4

in my own head, how to best tell the story. And like I said yesterday, there was a lot of things happening

1:45.7

across all forms of professional wrestling. You had stuff that happened in AEW. I was talking

1:51.5

about in part one. TNA had their own share of things. Of course, the NXT partnership took it to

1:57.1

another level. Of course, the announcement of a television deal. I think in terms of superstars telling stories, really the first half of TNA belonged to Joe

2:07.1

Hendry and the splash that he made, ending with Joe Hendry being a full-time member of the

2:13.5

WWE roster by the end of the year. But also also Mike Santana, the rise of Mike Santana

2:19.1

is, I think, ultimately what really is the headline of TNA in 2025. And I think something that

2:28.6

is going to be a big part of TNA in 26 as well. But let's get to it. If you missed part one, go watch part one, maybe even watch or listen to part one after this.
