In a six to three decision authored by Justice

Clarence Thomas, the court struck down a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and

Firearms and Explosives ATF, that restricted bump stocks.

Bump stocks are devices that are used to convert semi-automatic weapons into

devices that can fire up to 800 bullets a minute with a single pull of the trigger

so long as the shooter holds onto the device in a certain way.
