talking about Independence Day and joy and happiness and we had gratitude Monday with some wonderful

phone calls there. Clint in Texas stands out relevant to what I want to play here. But

we also spent a good portion of the show talking about the horrible, the horror and the tragedy

of the flash flood in Texas.

Just one of the worst things I've ever heard.

We'll start off with Randy, who was there, and we'll get a report on what happened and why and the status there.

Then we took a break, and we came back with a caller who is incredible.

And I've got a ton of emails about her. And I just got a note on Slater Radio. I said,

Lee is a gem. And there's no question. We need more Clint's in Texas. Real call. Let me just

say Clint in Texas, he lives about two hours away. So he more Clint's in Texas. Real cool, let me just say.

So he's a volunteer firefighter.

He and 15 guys, 15 guys are packing up,

getting in their truck and driving to Curval to help out the fire department up there for about a week.

He has a friend nearby,

and they're all going to shack up at his house for about a week. Just imagine that whole scene too. There's so much goodness there and he's just

like, uh, why we got to do it? So why are you doing that? So we got to do it. And God would want

us to do this obviously and we're just going to go do it because of course. So that was in the

first segment of the show. Then we'll talk to Randy and then you're going to love hearing from Lee.

You know, Just had a fantastic... Well, started off the show with our gratitude segment in Jim for Virginia called in,

talked about the importance of volunteering.
