I'm Alexa Delaraco. It's hard to believe, but we're less than two weeks away from the Steelers reporting a training camp in Latrobe.

The NFL season is right around the corner. This past Monday, Steelers Depot superstar Alex Kizora came out with an article on

2023 draft class. The one I most wanted to highlight, best case scenario for the Pittsburgh

Steelers coming out of the 2023 season is Steelers left tackle Broderick Jones not only have they found

their cornerstone franchise left tackle for the next decade but Broderick Jones

has the potential to be the number one left tackle in the 2023 NFL draft class.

Look, it finally happened. The Steelers took a left tackle in the first round of the draft.

We know they haven't done that since 1996. When they drafted tackle Jermaine Stevens,

three tackles were selected ahead of Roderick Jones. That was Paris Johnson, Darnell Wright, and Peter Scronsky.

Johnson was the most pro-ready tackle in the class.

Darnell Wright projects as a right tackle only and Peter Skoronski projects as a

guard.

But Broderick Jones may have the highest ceiling of any tackle in this draft class.

A hyper-athletic run-blocking mauler at Georgia, Broderick Jones has been posting videos working out this summer and looking ripped.

Being able to learn from veteran Isaac Samalu at Right Guard, just to Jones's right, will do wonders for the rookie who has

been limited starts under his belt at Left Tackle.

Best case scenario for the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2023 is they drafted the best

left tackle in the 2023 draft class who will be a franchise cornerstone

star to protect Kenny Pickett's blindside for years to come.
