Welcome to the terrible take, a daily segment telling Steelers nation what's on our mind.

I'm Alex Kazora. I know I mentioned his name on a recent take, but by now you've already read

the article of Mark Gorsick's first

scouts eye post for Steelers Depot and if you have not read it go check it out.

We are super excited about having Gorsick's viewpoint of the game, spending nearly 30 years in Pittsburgh

and close to 50 years involved in the game of football. That article you read will not be the last

from him. If you've combed through the article,

you saw the letter he sent out to the entire organization,

officially announcing him moving on from the team.

He's not retiring from football,

just starting something else, which incredibly a small sliver of that includes us and

I think that letter shows just how personal how family-based the Steelers organization is

while still humbly putting the team first. Mark's gonna offer a behind-the-scenes

lens of how the game is played, how it's coached, and of course how it's scouted.

And I'll sometimes just give his thoughts on the current day Steelers because, hey, he's got opinions

there too.

I know this may not be for everyone, but if you're a hardcore football nerd like us and I know many of you are or even if you just like hearing stories about the game it is well worth your time.
