I'm Josh Carney. After a surprise Wednesday appearance on the Pat McAfee show from Aaron Rogers, it doesn't sound as if a decision from the 42-year-old quarterback or the Pittsburgh Steelers is coming anytime soon.

That sets up another uncomfortable, prolonged wait this offseason, as Rogers stated he doesn't even have a contract offer,

which goes against the Steelers and GM O'Marcon, stating that they didn't expect things to

take long this time around. The Steelers, well, they must do the difficult thing in the first

year of Mike McCarthy and make the decision for Rogers by moving on. He's 42 years old and looked like a below average quarterback in his final game with the Steelers

and the AFC Wildcard lost to the Houston Texans.

It's not as if the Steelers are trying to re-sign Rogers in his prime.

At this stage of his career, he's not elevating the Steelers into contenders, and there's no future with him.
