Khan and the Pittsburgh Steelers drafted him to be? No, not quite, but he took big steps forward.

He solved the number one problem, himself. In 2024, Jones was a

mess with penalties, missed assignments, and mental mistakes galore. In 2025, those issues were largely

solved, just one penalty all year after nine the year before. No foolish errors like not knowing the play

call or cadence. That work began before the 25 season. Jones entered the year in great shape. I know

that's cliche bordering on a meme, but Jones slimmed down to start the year and got the year off

on the right foot. He was more physical and finished his blocks. His

technique was better, though not perfect. Then it all just comes crashing to a halt in week 12.
