So far in training camp for the Pittsburgh Steelers, two things have been pretty apparent regarding the black and gold. This team is incredibly physical and is thriving

and in the tense training camp, and the coaching the Steelers are receiving is hard, demanding, and as good as they've had in recent years.

Under the current CBA, just how physical practices can be in training camp is limited

due to the number of days in full pads, and how many days in a row they can do so.

But the Steelers are taking advantage of that and have created a competitive, heated environment

where to steal a m Tomlinism, iron is truly sharpening iron.

It's bringing out the best in the Steelers so far, which will only have them fully prepared for a tough season ahead, where expectations are high and the schedule is demanding.

There is no warming up to it, so the Steelers are hitting the ground running from a physicality standpoint, and are really getting after it in training camp.

Along with that physicality, the Steelers are

receiving some intense urgent coaching too,

which is great to see in here after recent years, in which it felt like things were

stagnant on the coaching staff.
