Summary

This 1001 Stories Network DOUBLE FEATURE includes two great H.P.Lovecraft short stories, the first being THE TERRIBLE OLD MAN- a story about a frail old man who lives alone in a New England village and is reputed to have a fortune in gold doubloons- a fortune that three robbers want. In BEYOND THE WALL OF SLEEP a young doctor in a mental hospital receives a strange patient that seems to be experiencing dreams from another dimension. Being curious, the doctor rigs up a radio style device to the patients head and the story heads into the outer dimensions from there. 0:38.1	The Terrible Old Man and Beyond the Wall of Sleep, Written on January 28, 1920, and originally published in Try Out magazine in 1921,
0:48.0	The Terrible Old Man is of particular interest to fans of H.P. Lovecraft's fictional geography,
0:57.0	setting his work for the first time in the fictional New England town of Kingsport.
1:20.0	Today's first story the It was the design of Angelo Ricci and Joe Zannick and Manuel Silva to call on the terrible old man.
1:27.8	This old man dwells all alone in a very ancient house on Water Street near the sea and is reputed to be both exceedingly rich and exceedingly feeble, which forms a situation very attractive to men of the profession
