Would you go please to 1 Corinthians the 6th chapter, 1 Corinthians 6th.

We began a new series a couple of weeks ago that we're calling the temple of the Holy Spirit.

The temple of the Holy Spirit.

In our main text passages there in 1 Corinthians 6, beginning at verse 9.

And I'm going to be reading out of the living, excuse me, the new living translation.

If we have that one, new living translation.

We'll get you a different one when we read the text and you'll see a broader part of it.

He said, do you not realize that those who do wrong will not inherit the kingdom of God?

Now we're going to be talking about that phrase some.

You got to watch about reading one thing and thinking something else.

We really need to discipline ourselves to be accurate about what God said.

There is such a looseness concerning his words.

And people wind up misquoting God a lot.

And the problem is they go off thinking that's what God said.

And he didn't say it.

That's what they thought he said.

That was their religious tradition.

And so you want to discipline yourself and see for yourself.

Don't just take what somebody else said about it.

What did he actually say?

What were the words he used?

And if you don't understand it, don't just randomly fill in the blanks.
