I got distracted there as I was doing that, Jason, because I just as I was saying things, I got two spam text messages that popped up on my screen.

From your wife. No, no, no, not from my wife. The first one says, Hi Chris, this is Bitcoin. You can start earning money instantly.

You got a message from Bitcoin itself? Apparently I did. Wow, I didn't even know the blockchain was sentient.

Well, it makes sense though. It just happened, I think, because I just got a message. Fancy. It really is. Well, anyways, this is you think you would call or she, I don't know what gender is. Yeah, I can't tell from the message, but two of them came in, so I don't know.

So that was exciting. Hi everyone, welcome to the show Jason. What are we doing? What's going on? Hi, something's happening here. Something's happening.

We are of course here to talk about the latest episode of the Walking Dead, which we will get to in a moment, but I have a couple of other things I want to do before we get into the recap.

The first thing I want to do is thank Twitter user Andy DeBertz, Jason, because he tweeted at us this week to let us know that a UK TV magazine called TV and satellite week featured this very podcast in their most recent issue.

What? I know. I know it's apparently it was a list of TV podcasts that they're listening to the editors or something like that. There's a picture and everything.

Picture what our logo our podcast starts. Yeah. Well, hello, whoever's listening. It was right there. It's very cool. So I just wanted to say thanks to Andy and of course thanks to TV and satellite week out of the UK for featuring us. Nice.

And yeah, if anyone saw that and is tuning in, welcome. We have tons and tons of listeners in the UK, which is very, very cool. And maybe now we have a couple more. Nice, nice, nice.

The other thing I want to do is just talk about a little bit of Walking Dead news that broke today. In fact, that I thought we really needed to address.

Now I do have to say though that this is a little bit spoilery. So what I'm going to do is in the notes for this episode in the episode description.

I'll post the time code for when our actual recap starts. So if you don't want to hear this spoilery Walking Dead news, just check the episode description and skip ahead to that time and you'll get right to the recap.

But for the rest of you, I've got some Walking Dead news here that was sent in by a few people. But the first listener to send it to me was cat in Nova Scotia.

So spoiler. I'm not going to skip ahead. Normally I would. Yeah. I would check the show notes and just kind of skip ahead. But I'm having a hard time with reality marching on.

All right. For everyone that is still here cat in Nova Scotia wrote, holy crap. Did you see that there is another Walking Dead spin off on the horizon.

And she goes on. But I'm going to just tell everyone that the Walking Dead Twitter account today and it's spread around very quickly has announced that coming in 2023, there is going to be another Walking Dead spin off TV show.

It is called Isle of the Dead as in Island of the Dead featuring two prominent characters. So Jason, we already know that we have a Darryl and a Carol spin off show happening.

We do. Who do you think from the main cast. I'll tell you that is going to be on this Isle of the Dead show coming in 2023.
