Monday, October 11, 2021. Welcome everyone to the show. So Jason, the last time we recorded,

it was just as we were going into the Canadian Thanksgiving long weekend.

And here we are now recording just at the tail end of the Canadian Thanksgiving long weekend.

So I think it's only fair for us to give a short update on how the weekend went.

So why don't you tell us how was your Canadian Thanksgiving weekend?

Loki and excellent. I spent most of, well not most of Saturday. It's not, you know,

cooking a whole turkey dinner is not that hard really. I'm just going to say that because I buy

a cook from frozen turkey. Yeah, you buy a cook from frozen turkey. It's road in the

fucking oven and you leave it there for a million years because it takes about 10 hours to cook the

damn thing. So I got up at six, put it on by six 30, went back to bed, and then we ate around five.

So that's perfect. Which had gave me lots of time to cook the yams and the mashed potatoes and

all the other good stuff. So yeah, it was good. It was low key. Jasper didn't eat shit.

He doesn't like turkey. He doesn't like dressing. He doesn't like mashed potatoes. He doesn't like

basically a bread for dinner. But what are you going to do? What are you going to do? I'm glad you

had a nice time. That seems like a long time to be cooking the turkey. Would you make like a 30 pound

or something? It was 7.9 kilograms. So eight kilograms ish. And for some reason, my oven always

takes forever to, I don't know what that is in pounds. You're going to have to convert for me.

But my oven always takes forever to cook anything. I don't know why that is, but it always takes

above 20% longer to cook than any of the recipes call for. So it called for seven and a half hours.

Yeah. And I cooked it for about eight and a half. Okay. So eight kilogram turkey is like 17 and a
