Welcome Jason, how are you doing today? I'm doing fine, selection day in this fine

country of ours. It is indeed federal election day in Canada, so if you are listening

to this, it's too late to vote in case you didn't vote, but hopefully you did. Hopefully

everyone got out and voted today. And in fact, depending on how things go tonight, and

when you're listening to this, you may not even know the results of the election yet,

because from what I've heard, there's a lot more mail-in voting this time around because

many people don't want to go out to the polls and things like that. So they're saying that it

is going to take longer than usual to tally all the votes, count everything up, and potentially

longer than usual to declare the winner in this Canadian federal election. So we'll see how it

goes, but I do want to say I hope the election turns out exactly how it should.

As do I, I know the media has been telling me for weeks that I will have to go farther to a polling

place this time, but my brain didn't think about it that like grab the car, left the house,

started driving to my local where the polling place usually is, and I'm like, that doesn't seem

very electoral. Let me pull over and check the address. Fuck fucking kilometers away. I mean,

instead of taking a minute or 37 seconds to drive to my, what's usually my local polling place,

I had to drive for almost two whole minutes, maybe even four. I wasn't counting. Wow. It took

it took longer and I was a little annoyed. I got to tell you. But you did it. And that's the most

important thing you went and you voted. You made your voice heard in our democratic system.

So that's great. I voted last week in one of the early polls because like you, my normal voting
