Great to have you here tonight as we get ready to have another terrific discussion.

Looking forward to our conversation, our guest tonight will be karen kavali who is an author she'll be talking about the

american taboo against speaking openly about encounters with otherworldly figures and phenomena

and she'll be doing that through individual stories and she'll look at the history and culture that has led us toward this attitude. And, you know, this is something that we've

talked about a lot, actually, on the program. And we've often talked about the fact that shows

like ghost hunters change the paradigm a little bit. It allowed some of these conversations to

take place that maybe couldn't have

taken place previously. And we'll get her take on that. She's got a book about the topic.

It's called Bad Mind. She has several other books as well, including the No Boundaries Trilogy

of Books. That's a fiction series, including the books undercover goddess down, and the

third of the trilogy is called The Return of the Goddess, and that is a tentative title because

it has not been written yet. Anyway, so, yeah, I could do that 1978 disco hair feathering. I

could absolutely do that right now. I won't, though. I'm going

to have to do something here because this looks awfully ridiculous. I'll do it during the break.
