NFL here. Cowboys on the practice field today, getting ready for the Carolina Panthers.

We saw a pretty lengthy injury report yesterday that saw Tyler Booker, C.D. Lamb, Jack Sanborn, Kavante Turpin, and Donovan Wilson not practicing now.

Good news. Donovan Wilson was back on the practice field today, but Dante Fowler Jr. wasn't spotted at practice. Curious to see what's up there. Cavante Turpin, out of the boot, but probably not going to play. You've got Jack Sanborn still in concussion protocol. Donovan Wilson, though, was back from an elbow. And what was he had an elbow and knee issue. So know it's it's the middle of the season there's

going to be a lot of dudes dinged up uh this is still a panthers team that you should beat on the

road and uh we can definitely talk more matchup but say what you will about the higher and our

attitudes at the time yeah feels like brian schadenheimer is exceeding a lot of people's expectations

just from a play caller,

game plan, time manager, and just, and honestly, dishing out a little bit of discipline by

benching Diggs a few weeks ago.

January 24th, it was a Friday night, about 9 p.m. is when we heard the news that it was

official. It felt very end of the week news dumpy type thing.

And yeah, we all kind of had the same reaction. And in a lot of it was it was a name that

not many people talked about being a future head coach. He's been around the league a long

time. His dad is Marty Schottenheimer.

And from people in the know, you also heard the same things that, yeah, he's a good dude.

You're going to like the dude. We just didn't know if he had what it took to be a head coach

and an offensive play caller at the same time. So we definitely held out reservations, and I think we still should to a certain point,

because it's five games through the regular season.

But what we've seen so far, and I think it's very unfair to judge a first time head coach

based off of their record, their first season.

Like maybe you can judge it based off of has the team gotten better since the year prior? And offensively, yes,

the Cowboys have. Dak Prescott is playing at a high level. What we saw against the New York
