And I will be honest with you, I have been very bummed out on the sports front this weekend because my alma mater, North Texas, that actually

had a number next to his name, 24, lost to number 22 lane on Friday night in rainy New

Orleans as they fall to the Green Wave, 34 to 21. I'm glad they actually fought back and tried

to make it a game, but it was one of those games where everything that could have gone wrong

did at times.

And you start out super positive. You get the ball first. You go 15 plays, 75 yards. You score a

touchdown. And then the rest of the first quarter was chewed up by Tulane going 16 plays in 81

yards. So you thought, oh, here we go. Not a lot of defense back and forth.

Both teams converting.

And then everything went to hell because on the opening drive, Caleb Hawkins,

North Texas, terrific freshman running back out of Shawnee, Oklahoma,

who will likely be an Oklahoma State cowboy, got dinged, had to come out of the game.

And then he comes back after getting looked at,

and he fumbles on a third and 21.

He catches the ball for 11 yards,

and it takes another shot to the arm, shoulder.
