So who better to have on than from the pregame show, the post game show. It's our very own Bruce Levine. It is a pleasure to be in the studio with you guys. Usually I'm calling in and now I get to see your smiling faces. We're on remote and we lose you. Then we have to play the Kyle Higashioka interview. We have it on standby if we need it. Yeah, you know, a big deal that day. I think the stores had traded for Miko Ranton. Yeah. Why talk about that? And it's crazy that the offseason felt so short because, you know, when you go to the conference finals, you have a shorter offseason. And then we get the news not even week later, that Pete DeBore is fired after three

runs to the Western finals. And Glenn Gulletson, back for his second stint as head coach of

1:51.8

the stars. I do want to start there because I find it fascinating. And it feels like,

1:56.0

1:59.5

idea of him being a

2:00.8

different guy. But my big questions, what are going to be the dramatic, like schematic differences

2:11.8

physicality. First of all, the Dallas Stars last three years. And don't get me wrong, Pete DeBore is a great coach, took this team. If you would have told me you get three final fours in a row, you take it in a heartbeat. But the Dallas Stars lacked in the defensive zone sometimes. And it really came back to bite them in the playoffs, especially against Edmonton. So you're going to see a more defensive structure under Glenn Gulleson.

2:34.2

You're going to see guys playing a different type. Maybe you would even call it, I don't want to call

2:39.3

it Jim Montgomery-esque, but it's close to it. So the stars probably will not score as many goals

2:45.5

as they did in the past few years under Pete DeBore. I know it was incredibly fun to watch 6'5 and 7-4 hockey and things like that. But the stars being more structured in the defensive zone. That's something you're going to notice. I think Jake Ottinger's numbers this year because of, Jake won a lot of games, but his goals against and save percentage were not equal to other goalies in the league, the elite goalies, because of the way the store is played in front of them,
