It is, it's the fourth, it's the day before tax day.

It's the 14th of April, 2026.

Happy Tuesday to you. I'm Derek Hunter. This is the

Derek Hunter podcast. For that day, programming note, Dean has kindly, you're used to him on

Mondays. He's going to take a couple of days a day or two at least this week because right now

we're dealing with the aftermath of cat surgery. Yes, my little

varuka had a mask that the doctor said, the surgeon said, looked like a fatty mask. They've sent

it off to be biopsied, removed from her rear end, and's recovering we'll see how that because she's wearing

a cone around her neck she's not liking that and she's got to be locked in a cage or heavily

supervised for two weeks and so I am aside from the radio which I can't take off two weeks I

took off Monday aside from the radio I can't take off two weeks, I took off Monday.

Aside from the radio, I can't take off.

I have to spend some time watching her, making sure she's not going insane, but taking care of.

So she's got some drugs that seem to make her whacked out.

So hopefully she'll fall asleep.

I'm watching her right now.

It's almost midnight.

And I'm watching her on a camera I set up in the cage of my office.

It'd be just nice if she fell asleep.

Otherwise, I wouldn't have to go sleep on the futon in there and just dangle my hand in the cage.

Also, it would be nice if she peed and or pooped at some point in the night in the newspaper
