Calling the worst booking ever may be a bit of a stretch because after a very

topsy-turvy 2011, CM Punk would go on to do a record-setting

W. W. W. W. W. W. W. W. W. W. W. W. W. W. W. W. W. W.

It was very surprising for the modern day.

As we had seen plenty of times before, though with other superstars, even though CM Punk was the champion he was never really

treated like the top guy sometimes in fact often it wasn't even in the main event

so where do we start? Well at the start. Gonna sake.

Because yeah punk did indeed sign with WWE back in 2005 and if you weren't around then

trust me it was totally huge because punk had made his name on the indie scene

didn't really look like a quote-on-quote typical w w w wy guy

so when he did get his foot in the door all of a son a bunch of other people

were like wait a minute if he can it, maybe I can do it too.

So he really did help change the game.

Instantly there was clearly some confusion between punk himself and the powers of the

B because he did find himself in OVW, but actually in hindsight this was like a sliding doors moment because do you know who he'd meet down there that would essentially change the shape of his career?

None other than Paul Hayman.

Because he realized instantly the punk could be a top guy so he pushed him as such in his own brand

and he ever wondered where does the phrase poor Heyman guy come from or seeing punk if you

can believe it was one of the OGs.
