Here's Grace to You, Bible teacher John MacArthur.

We have been looking in the last number of weeks with a few interruptions at the book of Ephesians.

So open your Bible to Ephesians chapter 4.

And this is a very important book and I have chosen to go through it if ever so slowly,

because it is so foundational to our Christian life.

And we find ourselves now in chapter 4 and we're trying to work our way through verses 1 to 6.

This is the third message in chapter 4, 1 to 6 and we will actually get a third of the way through verse 2.

But you'll see why.

Let me read the text to you chapter 4 verses 1 to 6.

Therefore, either prisoner of the Lord implore you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called,

with all humility and gentleness, with patience showing tolerance for one another in love,

being diligent to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

There is one body in one Spirit just as also you were called in one hope of your calling.

One Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all who is overall and through all and in all.
