Summary

As the media begins to learn more details about the horrific murder, Melanie's mother Susan Patrick faces the cameras to make a public appeal for help. A huge influx of calls leads detectives down many paths and the investigation stretches far and wide but then in a casual conversation with police family liaison officers, Susan inadvertently delivers a clue which brings them closer to the killer.
