Ancient peoples like the Phoenicians and Greeks created systems to represent sounds with symbols, making reading and writing faster and more accessible. This episode traces the alphabet’s journey from pictures and symbols to the ABCs we know today—and explains how it transformed human communication. 💵 Get a free month of Acorns Early: acornsearly.com/bedtimehistory 📖 We published our first book, Explorer Society: World's Fair Conspiracy 🎉 Check out our new show, Bedtime Safari! 📢 Donate via Patreon for a shout-out! 📺 500+ YouTube Videos
