It does sometimes feel a bit like we are living in a kind of science fiction movie

And over the past few months, it's become impossible to ignore how government agencies are partnering

with private companies to help in the efforts to do mass deportations.

Yeah, it's very disconcerting to read about how government agencies are using facial recognition technology to detain deportees.

Yeah, and it's not just facial recognition.

We'll get into all the different technologies that are being used today

with our friend Joseph Cox from 404 Media. The amount of data that immigration and customs

enforcement can scrape and utilize is pretty mind-blowing. And on the other side of it,

people have developed products to help track ice activity, but those products on apps have been removed from the Apple App Store
