L.M. Montgomery. Chapter 20, The Judgment Sunday. And Chapter 21, Dreamers of Dreams.

In the previous chapter, Felix had come running from the post office with a copy of the

local paper, the headline of which declared that the judgment day was to come at two o'clock

the next day.

All the children were out of sorts as to whether to believe it, but with contradicting views from

the adults, they let fear of doom settle in. And as each of them prepared for the end of the

world by making amends, they went to bed with anxiety of what might come tomorrow.
