As-Salamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu wa l-hamdulillahi wa s-salatu wa s-salamu ala Rasulillahu

wa ala aalihi wa s-sahbihi wa manu wa l-ahmabadi.

We are still doing our series of the Prophet Adam, our father, Adam, his salam.

We now move on to the next lesson or episode and today we're going to talk about the blowing

of the ruh into our father, Adam, alaihi s-salam.

Now one point before we move on is that as with a lot of these stories in the Qur'an, we

are not certain about chronology.

We're not 100% certain when exactly things happened versus other things.

So for example, we haven't yet mentioned that Allah announced to the angels that He's

going to place a Khalifa on earth.

We do not know whether this announcement was made after the ruh was blown into Adam, before

the ruh was blown into Adam, even before the body of Adam was formed, we do not know.

So we will talk about that in inshaAllah in a future lecture or an episode, but just

to clarify because I'm getting some comments and feedback that the fact of the matter is

we are not 100% certain of every chronological aspect.

So we're just putting together the story or the narrative as best as we can and in the

end Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala knows the details and it doesn't really change the morals

that we extract from the story.

Now last lecture I had mentioned a very beautiful hadith as a s-salam, in which the Prophet

Allahu alayhi wa s-salam said,

When the body of Adam was formed, he left Adam as long as Allah intended to leave Adam.
