but it's a timeless podcast that is just as important now as it was then. I was joined by Mark

Braceland as we looked into the Spanish Civil War and the footballing landscape during

that time and beyond.

We give an overview of where the world was pre-war and how the conflict developed.

We discussed the International Brigade and the volunteers that put their beliefs ahead of their safety.

What did this mean for football in Spain at the time?

We look at Real Madrid and Barcelona during the war, as well as after.
