I've been fielding a lot of calls from friends on the left and right about

vaccinations about COVID about is it real is it not we try to answer some of those

questions we probably don't answer them all but whatever we don't answer you know just

clips from this but before we get to that and we probably have to do a special episode this week about this topic, but I wanted to talk about Afghanistan and the Biden administration's decision to withdraw from the country and the Taliban gaining control of Kabul and the

country's major cities now that the US military forces are withdrawing.

What you're likely hear from some journalists in many of my

friends is that this is a stain on the Biden White House in President Biden's

legacy and that his decision to withdraw was poorly conceived without much of a plan to counteract the Taliban

and other terrorist forces reconstituting now that there is a diminished U.S. presence.

The reality is that we have no good options left in Afghanistan other than a permanent occupation,

more American lives lost, and trillions of American taxpayer dollars wasted.

And even after over two decades in Afghanistan the

likelihood of the Taliban doing what they are doing now was always likely going

to happen anyway. A civil war in Afghanistan is inevitable and the lack of political
