Our first full Olympic podcast of these Tokyo games, and I guess the theme would be just

because you're the best in the world,

doesn't mean you're going to be the best at the Olympics.

And this has happened multiple times with Simone Biles,

who is literally everybody's favorite for everything going into these games,

having a shaky night in the qualifying for the gymnastics.

And of course, USA basketball loaded with more NBA talent, including some fresh new

troops arriving from the NBA finals like Drew Holiday and others, still couldn't beat France

and fell for the first time in about 17 years in Olympic basketball.

Is this a harbinger of what we can expect for this tournament?

Are they not a gold medal team, guys?
