But pertaining specifically to the West Coast, Southern California, baseball, gentlemen, baseball.

Peter Abraham of the Boston Globe had a really funny tweet last night.

He said, can't the Padres and Dodgers form a super league of their own, okay?

Which is just a great line, and I wish I thought of it.

And this, guys, I cannot remember an April series that felt this much like the playoffs in my life-loving baseball.

We said, oh, okay, they're going to play a lot early and then a lot late.

How can it possibly live up to expectations?

Well, it did all the way until the pods came from seven, one down last night.

And the Dodgers left a million runners on base, and Tatisse Jr. hit another home run.

Oh, my God, this has been fun.

This whole thing started a week ago plus with a bench clearing brawl. That was our

kickoff to it and it ends up with that kind of comeback. It is, you know, you can't make this

stuff up kind of category.

It's clearly designed by the gods to be that series because, you know, baseball has invented this new thing in extra innings to try to get the games over quicker.
