And I am Bob Ryan of the Boston Globe and ESPN,

and we welcome you to the Monday morning edition of the sports reporters after a football weekend.

And gentlemen, the last thing that we saw, the last shot that we saw of a weekend of football,

of a football orgy, of

an unprecedented scope in our experience was that of an aging one-time star quarterback sitting

by himself on the bench.

And I don't know what that look was.

Was it a look of reflection? There was a look of self-pity? Was it a, what was it, a blank look of some kind on the face of Ben Rutherzberger at the end of that game? And it, that was the image that I'm, most poignant to me about this whole weekend. Do you guys think that we would be in any way

thinking about writing a valediction or a eulogy for Ben Rathesberger's pro football career

after a night when he completed 47 passes for 500 on one yards and threw four touchdown passes.

But again, it did feel like a game for about a half an hour in the middle last night.

You know, Mitch, it reminded me of that game that the Browns played against the Titans early in the year.

I think it was 38 to 7 in half time.

It kind of became a

game after that but I never thought they were going to lose and and four interceptions and

one of the nightmare beginnings that I have ever seen in a playoff game and the last time I saw

anything like it is when the cowboys fell behind 21 nothing to the the 49ers one time at Candles Stick Park back in the 90s.

There have been other 35 to 7 comeback story. That score seems to stick in my head. I actually thought when Baker Mayfield threw that 40-yard touchdown to Chubb, you know,

in the fourth quarter, that really was the second turning point. I mean, obviously the first
