ESPN. And I'm Mitch Album of the Detroit Free Press and we are all the sports reporters and you're

listening to the sports reporters podcast. Well, the NBA draft took off last night. A lot of names that

many people, unless you're a diehard basketball fan,

might not have known. The number one pick, let it be known, is Anthony Edwards out of Georgia,

who has an enormous amount of promise as a shooting guard. James Wiseman, a center,

with also a lot of promise, goes to Golden State, and Lamello Ball, who some

thought would be the number one pick, point guard at 6-7, and a member of the infamous ball family,

goes to Charlotte with number three. If you took all three of these guys and added them together,

I don't think they played one full college

season of basketball, because ball didn't play any, and Wiseman and Edwards were in and out.

So what does this portend for these three teams? And are we going to see, is this going to look

back years from now and see some superstars come out of this? Or are we just looking

at guys who are going to be good players? The consensus feeling is the latter. That it's,

there isn't, the one guy with the, with the potential to be a superstar is La Mello,

who needs to become a better shooter.

But I don't know if you've seen any footage of him, guys.

He can really pass.

He's got the full package in passing.
