And Bob, we will start with baseball an extraordinary week.

But let me tell you this, Bob.

And I wrote a column about this yesterday, and I believe this.

The Yankees, let's start with Garrett Cole, to whom the Yankees just gave $324 million

on a nine-year contract.

Bob, they had to do this, okay?

They have, they have been looking for aces, and I'll take you through some of the history

for the last 10 years, and they have seen other aces in October thwart their attempt to win their

first World Series since 2009. So they had no choice. I'm surprised that Boris didn't try to

bid them up to $350 million. I guess the Dodgers were in it to the end. And if it wins them a World Series, it will be worth it, Bob. But here's the thing. It will someday be looked at as a dumb contract. And as my son said to me yesterday, Robert, the Yankees have to look at this as this way. They're paying him like 60 million for five years.

And then anything they get after that will be gravy.

Yeah, I mean, it's unreasonable to think based on the history that we've seen in the sport that he's going to be, any of these 30-ish pitchers are going to be productive.
