detach yourself from the goods of this world.

Love and practice poverty of spirit.

Be content with what is sufficient

for leading a simple and temperate life.

Otherwise, you will never be an apostle.

And let's prayerfully try to figure that point out.

The connection, the intimate connection of being an apostle, which means a messenger of Jesus Christ.

It would include witness.

It would include a marketer, a promoter, a magnet for Jesus Christ.

What's the connection between detachment from material goods, events, judgments, routines, you name it.

What's the connection? And we could apply the opposite as well.
