| 0:52.1 | But the main show starts here. This is going to be our chunk male dispenser episode for the month. |
| 0:57.1 | So lots of email to get through. But first of all, Joel, what have you been doing in Minecraft this week? |
| 1:02.1 | So I've been spending my week plugging away at the North Barracks build, which I started last weekend on the Citadel. |
| 1:11.1 | And it's coming along nicely. I've made some adjustments to the overall shape of the building added a tower, which houses stairs to get up to a second floor. |
| 1:21.1 | This main building is meant to be kind of like a mess hall on the bottom or a meeting space and then maybe like an infirmary or something on the top floor. |
| 1:28.1 | I'm just kind of giving it loose kind of use cases, but I knew that I wanted top floor access. |
| 1:33.1 | And the building looked more like a house than it did any kind of barracks. |
| 1:37.1 | And so by adding a square tower to the outside, which houses the stairs to get up to the next level, a common thing in a lot of medieval build. |
| 1:47.1 | Then it adds kind of a little bit more of a robust kind of feel to it. |
| 1:51.1 | And it was a significant change also to the entrance of this area where I added a gate. |
| 1:57.1 | Previously, it was just a street that you just turned left on and just go up the road. |
| 2:01.1 | Now with the gate, again, it feels more like a barracks. I went looking for different images of barracks and realized that most of them had walls around them and most of them had gates. |
| 2:10.1 | And so I added a wall, which removed like a house that I wasn't happy with. |
| 2:16.1 | And so that removed like a, I don't know what to do with this house. |
| 2:20.1 | It's sort of just there because it's the same as everything else on the street. |
| 2:23.1 | So now it's a gate tower and a wall, which has, again, it's more unique and kind of has more of a barracks feel to it. |
| 2:32.1 | And I still haven't really done anything with the road itself. |
| 2:35.1 | Getting up into the barracks area with all the different bunks and different houses for the soldiers. |
