witnessed Spain qualify for their 12th World Cup in a row.

They did it in slightly nerf-y fashion, beating Sweden by 1-0 at the Estad de la Cartuja,

album on 1-0 at the score of an 86-minute goal to send Spain to the World Cup.

How was the atmosphere in the stadium and after the game as well?

Because it is quite an achievement.

We take it for granted now, but there are a lot of big, big nations that have missed World

Cup since the last time Spain didn't make it through to the showpiece in 1974.

The fact that they've done it again is a big achievement.

Well, Spain have been at every World Cup as you say since 1974.

Only four countries have been at every World Cup since 1974.

And it's fair to say they are the biggest of big hitters.

The other three, not including Spain, are Brazil, Argentina and Germany.

So, you know, you've got a lot of really great countries that haven't been there.

Yeah, exactly, absolutely.

A lot of big countries haven't been there, yeah, yeah.

And I was going through the records the other day and there's been a few times

when Spain have been on edge.

There's been a few tournaments where they've had to go via the playoffs.
