You're sort of going back to the old days because you are in a car, in a car park, recording

this podcast. I'm not though, I'm at home. So at least one of us is getting back into

the old spirit. Absolutely. Let's let's let's talk about what happened this weekend. It was

match day, 20 in La Liga and a lot of interesting things happened. Here's a rundown of the results

from the match day that's just gone. On Friday, athletic club beats a caddith by four goals

to one. Athletic have been having problems scoring apparently but they put those to bed

with an oil and sunset hat trick on Friday night. Then on Saturday, Espanol and Ossasuna

drew one one. There was no José Lu for Espanol but Martin Brathwaite stepped up and scored

his fifth goal of the season to ensure they got a point against Ossasuna. Elche got their

first win of the season. Yes, it's finally happened at the 20th time of asking. They beat

Villarreal. Three-one, a hat trick for Perramía and they were good value for the victory as

well. Villarreal, truly awful in the second half of this game. Athletic on Madrid and

Hitafi played out a one-one draw at the Civitas Metropolitano. At the time of the full-time

whistle, we thought, oh, that's a terrible result for Athletic. But actually, it's turned

out to be quite a good result because all the other teams around them lost this weekend.

Told you about Villarreal losing. Betis lost as well at home. Four-three to Celtivego in

one of the games of the season. And then on Sunday, Real Sociedad also lost. They were

beaten one-nil at home by Viadalead. So it turned out to be a pretty good weekend for

Athletico Madrid. Not a good weekend for Real Madrid who were beaten one-nil by Mallorca.
