Imperial Russian history at Georgetown in DC and so my work actually focuses on

the 18th century and it's not particularly devoted to class struggle or or

anything like that but recently you know all Imperial Russian historians are

trained in Soviet history and because of the activity on the left and around the

the anniversary I've also become interested in sort of what my field has been
