Hey, we're starting a brand new series today. I'm really excited. It fits with what we're going through.

It's called disrupted, but not defeated. And if you're here, you're like, man, my whole schedule's been disrupted.

My business is disrupted. And if you're a parent, you're like, all of a sudden, I just quickly became a homeschool teacher.

You are living in the disruption. But you might be disrupted, but you are not defeated.

We're going to look together through the scriptures to see where our strength and our victory comes from.

In fact, let's look at our first scripture right out the gate, Psalm 42.

I love this so much.

Psalm 42, verse 5.

This is the words of David.

Listen to what he says.

He says, why my soul are you downcast?

He's talking to himself.

Why are you downcast?

Why so disturbed within me? He tells himself, put your hope in God,

for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God. I don't know if you've ever talked to yourself.

I don't know if you're someone that I talk to myself a lot on the golf course. Why did you do that?

Why did you hit that shot? How come you can't hit a put? But he's talking to himself and he's golf course why did you do that why did you hit that shot how come you can't

hit a put but he's talking to himself and he's saying why are you so downcast why are you so sad man

why are you feeling this way you need to get out of your feelings out of your emotions and you got to

put your hope in god you know I really feel like out of this time

that we've got to be as a people we've got to be hope people I feel like we've got to dispense hope
