Now the portal is closed outside of a couple of openings for those combatants in the national championship game last night. A couple of interesting storylines nationally with a certain quarterback in the ACC as well. And maybe there's some implications there. But first of all, Ira, I heard you on seminal headlines today. You enjoyed the game like a little kid last night huh i did man

that was a that was a lot of fun i was fully invested uh i was uh uh pleasantly surprised not surprised

i mean i thought indiana was really good i thought they would have a good chance to win that game

but i was um pleasantly surprised for them to have you know the 10 point lead to halftime and just kind of be in control the whole game. I was a little bit worried it was going to slip away there at the end when they settled for the field goal. And, you know, Carson Beck got them to midfield. But then a lot of a lot of excitement when that, when that pass got picked off. So sometimes i'm a countercultural guy i live and die

by the skycast when we get to these big games and they give a proper channel to it just because i love the

angle us kids that watch the game on the from the video game angle can just see it better we grew up

with madden as kids so that kind of high angle cam is more in our nature to watch the game.

So I enjoy that.

Also, the commentary is zilch.

Like you're in the press box almost, which is very cool.

But I'm wondering in the moment that Siggs calls timeout in the second half, they got the fourth and five.

The kicker was on the field. The skycast was late to it because

they were showing the sidelines and then they sweep it back over the field. And I see Mendoza out there.

I go, oh my God, how was it covered and how did you consume that as somebody who's seen his fair share

of fourth down decisions at Doe C Campbell Stadium and other locations here the last few

years under Mike. Yeah, you know, it was, it was so weird. It was so, it felt very

un-Indiana-like, unsignetti-like for them to have to call the timeout. And then unlike what
