who they hadn't seen in almost a year.

Their daughter and son-in-law had moved around a lot, but lately the texts they were getting from their daughter were stranger and stranger, and the excuses for not seeing her, tenor and tenor.

No one had seen their daughter.

And pretty soon nobody would be seeing the grandparents either, or the brother, or the son-in-law, or the dogs.
