All right. Let's see. Lockdown journal March 19th, 2020. So per my therapist requests, I'm going to journal about my mental health.

Today I want to talk about what's been sapping my motivation.

Okay.

So after doing a personal inventory, it's clear that I'm pretty depressed.

There are personal factors and environmental factors for my depression. But for the sake of those who will

hear this, I'll skip the personal stuff for now. I'll start just by saying this, living in Shanghai

is bumming me the fuck out. So for those of you have kept up with it all, since the outbreak of

the pandemic in 2020, aside from like the initial lockdown,

we've lived completely normal lives here in Shanghai. But here's the thing. I feel like everyone

around me has moved on and made their peace with that lockdown. I've been left behind. I can't get past the lockdown.
