Summary
We’ve all been there – you’re on the job and something goes wonky with your welding gun. Next thing you know you’re telepathic and can not only read the thoughts of your co-workers, but also an evil race of robots living underground. You know, that old yarn. Well, it also happened to Richard Shaver and afterwards he sent his account of living with them to a magazine. When the magazine’s publisher received it, he did the logical thing: re-wrote it to be 3 times longer and published it. And if this sounds wild, that’s just the tip of the stalactite. This week we grab our ray guns and pick axes as we go in search of The Shaver Mystery. Plus, Conspiracy Bot thinks you can podcast through a ham radio (actually might improve this show), he also thinks he smells burnt toast (weird for a robot with a toaster for a head), and the fellas turn a fake language into a treatment for irregularity (I’d love to tell you this makes more sense when you listen, but I don’t want to lie).
